Kendra Richardson, ATC, LAT

Clinical Athletic Trainer

Kendra is a certified athletic trainer and a native of Washington State. She graduated from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training. She has extensive experience with athletic and sports medicine injuries. While at the University of Tampa, she worked with their Nationally Ranked Women’s Volleyball and Men’s Baseball program as well as lacrosse and basketball teams.

She completed a yearlong clinical rotation with Tampa Catholic High School where she performed injury evaluation, treatment and prevention programs with the Football, Basketball and Lacrosse teams to name a few.

Kendra joined Orthopaedic Medical Group of Tampa Bay in 2016. She has quickly become an asset to the sports medicine team and works daily evaluating and treating patients with a variety of orthopaedic issues. She still works closely with the UT and Tampa Catholic programs helping to ensure timely and quality care for athletes.

She will serve as the Athletic Trainer and orthopaedic liaison for the Tampa Bay Mayhem Rugby Club and the Tampa Bay United Rowdies Soccer Club. She will work on the field during home games for the Mayhem as their on-site athletic trainer. She will also provide weekly injury evaluations and game coverage for the TBU Rowdies – ECNL Boys program.

In her spare time Kendra enjoys line dancing, sports, spending time with friends and family and taking her dog, Gunner, to the dog park.
