Ryan McMahon, MS, ATC, NASM-PES

Clinical Athletic Trainer

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from High Point University and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Performance Enhancement/Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania. He is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and Licensed to practice in the state of Florida. He also holds an advanced specialization from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist.

Prior to coming to OMG Ryan worked at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Sports Performance Coach. He spent 13 years as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Somerset Patriots Professional Baseball Club in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. He was a part of four championship seasons during his tenure. During the off-season he worked in the hospital’s state of the art Sports Physical Therapy and Performance Center helping athletes of all backgrounds improve their performance and their risk of injury.

He currently resides in Tampa, FL with his wife Jennifer and his dog Fenway. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, outdoor recreational and sports activities, and spending time with family and friends.
