Megan, a Pennsylvania native, graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and continued to further her education by obtaining her Physician Assistant degree from PSU as well. As a competitive athlete Megan sustained several injuries during her career. These firsthand experiences have motivated her to become a healthcare professional and give her a unique perspective on what it’s like to be both the provider and the patient. She is a dedicated professional that understands the athlete mindset and truly understands what her patients are going through.
After graduation, she gained invaluable experience in family medicine working with a large health system in Harrisburg, PA. During this time, she continued to enjoy her passion for sports by coaching local athletes during summer camp and local high school teams, while also completing her Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Eastern University in 2009.
In 2010, she moved to the Tampa Bay area to work at MacDill Air Force base where she had the opportunity to work closely with many talented and committed professionals. The experienced she gained while working with the dedicated military members and their families has proven invaluable to her career and success as a healthcare professional.
She joined Orthopaedic Medical Group of Tampa Bay in 2017 to continue her career and expand her knowledge of orthopedic injuries and work to grow our sports medicine and orthopedic programs. In her free time Megan enjoys sports, traveling and relaxing at the beach.
