Megan is an Ohio native who spent most of her adult educational life in South Carolina. Her interest in orthopedics began when she was injured as a young athlete. She quickly understood the need and importance a healthcare provider played in returning an athlete to peak performance after an injury. Committed to learning how to help other athletes Megan graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Science degree in exercise science from the College of Charleston in South Carolina.

Upon graduation, she worked briefly as a physical therapy technician before going on to study at the Medical University of South Carolina in the Physician Assistant Studies program where she graduated with a Master’s Degree and earned honors on the dean’s list.

Megan gained valuable experience working as a physician associate in several healthcare facilities along the east coast of the US as her husband expanded his military career. She has experience evaluating and treating a variety of issues including adult joint reconstruction, and hand and upper extremity orthopedic conditions. Once her husband retired from the military, they moved to FL to be close to family and enjoy the beautiful year-round weather. OMGTB is excited to have Megan on our team and looks forward to her continued growth and help with our patients.

Megan enjoys spending her time on the water, fishing, and boating with her family and dogs.
