Cameron Hogsett, DO

Dr. Hogsett is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon specializing in both complex and minimally invasive spine procedures including motion-preserving techniques such as cervical and lumbar disc replacements in addition to the most advanced technology-assisted surgical care. He completed his spine surgery fellowship at the highly regarded Swedish Neuroscience Institute in partnership with the Seattle Science Foundation, gaining certification and expertise in the latest robotic and navigation-assisted techniques for personalized spine surgery.

Dr. Hogsett earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree as the valedictorian of his medical school class at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He also holds a Master of Biomedical Sciences degree, reflecting his strong commitment to academic research and the advancement of his field. He then continued his training in Fort Worth completing his orthopedic surgery residency at John Peter Smith Health where he was honored as chief resident and earned the Research Publication Presentation of the Year award-an accolade highly endorsed by world-renowned spine surgeon Dr. Lawrence Lenke.

His clinical approach prioritizes non-operative management whenever appropriate, including image-guided spinal injections, targeted physical therapy, nutrition and bone health optimization, and structured exercise programs. He is a strong advocate for a holistic and shared decision-making model, centering each patient’s unique goals and expectations in every treatment plan. Dr. Hogsett takes great pride in treating every one of his patients with the same dedication and compassion he would offer a family member.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hogsett enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf or one of his many guitars, traveling, and relaxing at the beach or on a lake.
